Kevin Scharp

Kevin studied mathematics at Washington University before earning his PhD in philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh under Robert Brandom. He has spent 25 years teaching critical thinking and philosophy of AI at Ohio State, the University of St Andrews, and the University of Illinois.

His book Replacing Truth (Oxford University Press, 2013) argues that some of our most important concepts are broken — and can be fixed. CU Agents applies that same principle to how people and businesses interact with AI: build it right, make it private, make it actually useful.
